Be a Part of the Cure Walk

Come celebrate with us at “Be A Part of the Cure Walk” when the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute hosts its 3rd annual Cancer walk honoring ALL Cancer patients, their families and loved ones. Join us to raise awareness about cancer through camaraderie and learn about cancer prevention, screenings and new therapeutic services available throughout Arkansas communities.

THANK YOU to over 1,000 participants who came together at our last annual walk in the fight against cancer. It is with your participation, your energy and your support we raised over $242,000 to advance cancer research in Arkansas for better care and to take leading steps to find a Cure.  Download Recap Flyer

The Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute’s academic staff remains dedicated to serving Arkansans and others, in paving the way for advanced cancer treatments, clinical trials and patient support. Our goal is to reduce the incidence of all types of cancers while striving to find a Cure.

Please join us on May 6, 2023 at War Memorial Stadium. Enjoy the excitement with fun games, random drawings, local entertainment, patient stories and a 1k or 5k walk. Visit the educational booths, retail booths and the MammoVan. The gates open at 6:30 am with the speakers beginning at 8 am. Come out for a great cause and a day of fun!

Each step we take together brings us closer to a Cure.
